Default Stange problem with remote start

Suddenly my truck is refusing to remote start with either the App or the keyfob (and yes remote start is turned on). All I get is 3 flash red blinks from the LED. Thoughts?

Well, suddenly it started working. I unplugged the Ford Perimeter Plus module and then plugged it back in. Has anyone has an issue like this before?

I can't say I have a answer for that. However, I'm interested in where the heck is the Ford Perimeter Plus module?

It adds impact detection to the built in security system in the truck. If someone happens to the truck, I get alert with in the Ford App

It's an add on module. https://www.f150forum.com/f118/2018-...-alarm-428173/

I found mine really cheap on ebay, a dealership listed the add wrong!

Thanks, but I didn't see the process, or where to unplug physically? I get all the security stuff, makes sense as I think we all get that, looking for the physical module only.

It plug daughter cable that connects to the trucks ODBII port. It's plug and play with your Lariat. You might want the LED as well.
You want something like this, but the correct part number is FS7Z-19a361-A (dealership has it listed as FT4Z-19A361-A, go figure), you also might want the LED (second link). BTW, I think my issue was caused by Forscan, I made a change and did not reset that unit.

I might have the same thing going on. WHen the battery is disconnected, or, interestingly enough, I program certain modules with Forscan, I have to remote start with the app FIRST. If I remote start via my cell phone app first, then the remote start from the keyfob works. It won't work until I do the app remote start. Just a side effect of add-on stuff I guess.
