That's how mine started out. Very random stalls. Then got worse with rough idles and more frequent stalling. Turned out to be my VCT solenoids, which a couple mechanics said it wasn't. Then cylinder number 8 went bye-bye. So, I have a new engine now.

the cracked valve on cylinder 8 in the second gen is extremely rare. I don't think I've every heard of it. first gen, yes. second gen no.

First time for everything. It's what went on my truck. Wasn't happy about it.
