Default Squeaky door kickstand.

I have no idea what that doohickey is called, but the thing in the door that keeps its open, well that thing squeaks on my drivers door like no bodies business, what should it be lubed with?

And the heck is it called?

I used some white lithium grease. Comes in a spray can, and you can squirt it into hard to reach places.

Most any grease that is not affected by water will work. I use Syl-Glide or Phil Wood, because that's what's always in my garage.
