Default Sport shift boot stitching

Odd...not that I care, but the stitching is on the outside of the boot on one side, but not the other...are they all like this?

My 17 Lariat Sport is the same way. I never figured why it's that way. I think it's more design then oops.

It makes sense to me..
If you follow the stitching from the shifter it goes down the back of the shifter and continues to the boot. There is no stitching down the front of the shifter, so it makes sense not to have stitching on the front of the boot.
