Because those speakers suck too. These will sound way better and be a fraction of the cost of going your route. Was that a serious question?

If you want to cut wires and take your door panels off then all the power to you. Looks like aftermarket speakers leave a "fraction" of your door wide open. Can order 4 door speakers from Ford for 50 bucks each and have install done while your still on the forums and watching youtube trying to figure out how to take off your door panel.

$50? You just proved my point. The labor alone is probably $200 to have crap speakers.

I don't know where you found that ghetto *** install video, but you did see my picture I posted right ???? NO CUTTING of the factory harness & used the factory speaker door mounts to install my new Infinity speakers. The only thing you're gutting out is the factory speaker from the factory mount. You obviously haven't heard the Sony system from Ford or read the numerous complaints from people about the quality of it. I've got about $250 in all my speakers & the sound quality will by far BLOW AWAY any factory system. It just took a little elbow grease & know how to do it.
