Default Speaker Replacement

Hey guys, I know this subject has been covered before, but thought I'd contribute my speaker upgrade. So far I've done the both front speakers, I used the stock speaker mounts & after a little modification they fit perfect, I soldered my wires to the stock speaker mounts so I can use the oem wiring harness without cutting it. Here's a pic of it installed in the door. More pics to come for the rear.

That's like asking McDonald's to upgrade your single cheese to a double cheese when you want a filet.

Like night & day difference. The clarity is well worth it, along with being able to make your rear view & side view mirrors shake if heavy bass hits (which was a little surprising). I can't wait to get my 6.5" rear speakers installed, then I'm gonna replace the center dash speaker also.

Dont understand why if you have an XLT and want a speaker upgrade, why not go to the Ford dealership, ask for the Lariat Sony Speakers and have them install them.
