Default Spark plug tutorial?

Is anyone aware of a spark plug tutorial for the NA 6 cylinder? I’m over 90k, and thinking it’s time to replace. All I’ve been able to find references the ecoboost.

Thanks in advance!

Release the retention tabs on the electrical connectors, remove the connectors, remove the plugs. Some hoses on the passenger side of the engine get moved to reach the last plug. It's pretty simple once you look at it. Autozone carries a magnetic spark plug socket with built in swivel head that works great, it's the smaller of the two.

Gap the new plugs before installing, tons of threads here on that...

Naturally aspirated and turbo 3.5 engines are not the same process. For the N/A engine you will need to pull the upper intake plenum and replace those gaskets in the process. It's a simple plenum to remove but I cannot direct you to a "how to" video.

Thanks for the input...a magnetic swivel is a nice addition.

As mentioned, they are not the same. I wasn’t aware of the plenum gaskets. Thanks for your help!

Depends on if you want access to the plugs or not.

Yes, I was hunting for a tutorial because I don’t want to pay someone else to do it. I can probably do it without, but don’t want to spend an entire day figuring out what does/doesn’t need to come off in order to access the plugs. Engineers don’t make things easy for wrench turners these days.
