Slight rust on bed frame

I don’t think your looking at metal nevermind rust. That area is bedlined, and even the thin factory stuff isn’t THAT thin. I’d say it’s embeded dirt or some other discoloring cause in the bedliner material and not your actual truck.

If you must clean this off try CLR first. It is just ground dirt. Don't paint over dirt the next person will have to clean up your fix. Again I would just leave it and let the dealer detailer can take care of it. They will not knock down the trade in price because of this little bit of dirt. Relax it is a truck and little stuff happens.

It ain't rust. Just throw some dirt in the bed and "sweep" it out. That way the whole bed will blend in

I wouldn't advise painting it, you may make it very obvious and that you were trying to hide something.
