Default Sirius Antenna Replace

Hi All,
Bought a 2016 XLT out of warranty. Seems the Sirius audio cuts out near cell towers. I found the upgraded antenna. I can't find instructions to remove the headliner for a CrewCab with Pano roof. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
John

There's a known issue on this... I took my truck in and they fixed it for free, but obviously you may not get that.

There's a thread on it here: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/siriu...7/#post6063823

Some threads on headliner removal here: https://www.f150forum.com/search.php?searchid=17078317

This one looks like it has what you're looking for: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/proce...dliner-441428/

I've seen others state that the antenna is a simple replacement. None of these Headliner options seem easy! Thanks JonDW29

I just did it Today. Take off the pass a pillar, 2 10mm bolts. take of pass side visor 2 7mm bolts , outside where pivot is screw is under cap. take down the other end (clip side ) of the visor. You know have enough room to get at antennae. The 10mm bolt holding it in. The new one you have to tighten till the end.,.. almost feels like it wants to break.

My antenna is working fine, but I could swear there's a tiny gap at the front, due to the curvature of the roof, and the stupid antenna being flat. Will try with a piece of paper one of these days. The antenna should have been mounted further behind. Or better yet, made right, with the curvature of the roof. So make sure it actually seals all the way around, especially the front, which is where rain hits the most and the hardest. I don't think mine leaks, but only rode in rain once so far, and no visible leak inside. Good luck.
