Default Side mirror question

The window sticker for my new King Ranch clearly states “Power adjustable/heated/power folding exterior side mirrors.” According to the manual you push the button with the icon of a mirror and an arrow on it, which on the driver side armrest of my truck is located at about 7 o’clock underneath the center button with arrows for adjusting the mirror itself up/down/in/out. When I do that it lights up, but nothing happens. Am I missing something?

While on the topic of mirrors, my truck has two mirrors, a large upper mirror and a smaller lower mirror, which provides a view of the lower part of the truck. It would seem that it should also be adjustable but I don’t see a way to do so and the manual does not offer any insight.

Who can educate me?

It’s not a fisheye....there’s an upper section to the mirror and a lower section.

Our wrecker has those type mirrors on it and the bottom mirror is manual adjust only, you have to push it by hand where you want it to aim.

Thanks, I wondered if that was the case. Seems odd but makes sense.

It turns out my power folding mirrors work just fine. The language in the Owner’s Manual, however, works less fine. The text tells you to push the button with the folding mirror icon, and implies that the mirrors will either fold open or closed, depending on the state they were in before you push the button. It leaves out that you have to push the forward or back arrow AFTER you’ve pushed said fold mirror button.

Lesson learned.
