So I was washing my truck this weekend and got to thinking. My rear window and window on my topper were completely filthy and this was just between washes. So since I just lowered my soft top and gave it a quick clean, easy and nice and clean now. What do you folks with these hardshells do? Slide the top back, not worry about it....?

Yep. Mine has that too but it was an option. SnugTop Rebel.
I tried one of those clear donuts 3 trucks ago (20+ years!). Not worth the air to blow them up. Sealing off the roof/topper junction with tape (or whatever) keeps all the rain and dust out. Dirt doesn't come up from the bottom. Worked like a charm.
Are there any toppers that have a removable roof piece for when you need to haul a tall item? I don't want to remove the entire thing when this is needed.
