Default Sensor Location

OK, really frustrated. I'm trying to understand where all of the sensors are located on the outside of my truck (including for back up). I do not have the 360 degree camera, but occasionally something beeps or leaves a message that a sensor might be blocked. I've looked through the useless manual and there are no diagrams for all of them. Can anyone help me? Thanks

You have 4 backup sensors on your rear bumper that look like round black plastic plugs about the size of a dime. There are two more on the sides, just forward of the front doors. There are also a couple in the lower half of your rear tail lamps, behind a graphic imprinted in the lens. If none are blocked, you may have a bad connection or sensor. After taking delivery of my truck, I got repeated warnings that there was a fault in my blind spot and rear cross-traffic systems, and the dealer replaced a faulty sensor in one of the tail lamps.

There is a sensor right above the rear view mirror. You can see it from outside and even has its own heater. I’ve noticed in the last few weeks which snow and cold that I get a sensor block message. Even sends the notice to the Ford app and says what sensors and what to do.

Auto wiper sensor and, in some models, a camera.

Is the sensor behind the rear view mirror ONLY for the auto wipers (I do have that feature)?

Not sure on the 19's, but on earlier models, the sensor is on the glass behind the mirror and not on the mirror. You can see it from the outside.

The *camera* facing forward that's behind (in front of on the outside) the rear view mirror is used for Auto HIgh beam, Auto wiper emergency braking and lane keep.

Do you have the 502 package? tech package?

The rear sensors are as Taggart described.

I was told by the dealership that I have a camera up there next to the wiper sensor, which apparently has something to do with the emergency braking function. I've read the radar for the adaptive cruise control is behind the front bumper. I have the 360-degree camera function, which pieces the picture together from cameras in the grill under the Ford badge, underneath the side mirrors, and in the tailgate under the latch. Ford has a series of videos on YouTube that explain and demonstrate all the exterior sensor functions better (and quicker) than the manual.

If you're getting a message about a sensor being blocked and you don't have snow or mud buildup on your truck, you probably need to have the dealer check it out under warranty.

The camera is part of lane keeping assist. It may also be part of pedestrian avoidance. Not sure if the 150 has that or not.

I do have the 502a package. But the only sensors I can see are the 4 on the rear bumper and the one on the windshield behind the rear view mirror.
