Selectshift
I have 2015 XLT 3.5 N/A w/o select shift. I recently installed a lever with buttons for feature. Is this something that can be activated through FORscan? I’ve also a few other “activations” I’d like to do i.e. rear bed lights/rear camera/tire size. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I am not the authority on this subject but,
I am pretty sure the select shift feature isn't something that can be added with a switch and activation.
A lot things yes, like accessory key pad( this is a great addition unless you are 100% sure you will never lock yourself out of the vehicle )
trailer brake controller, etc but I am pretty sure that adding select shift would be much more involved.

The reason I’d like it is I get this shutter trying to accelerate. I’d like to be able to lock it in fourth because I drive in slow traffic areas. Tow locks out sixth and sport just drags out shift so I’m still always in high gear. Third pushes 3k
Forgot yours was an XLT, I think they all have the keypad.
I plan on adding that to my XL, it's a really great feature, don't know why Ford is the only automaker that seems to build cars with that.
If yours has the trailer brake controller it must have been ordered that way and even the tow package doesn't come with it,
it is a separate option( the only exception is the 3.5 ecoboost max trailer tow package ) .

I think '' progressive range select '' is Ford jargon for what most of us think of as select shift anyway, which is displaying all the tranny's gears and having the ability to downshift/
lock out higher guys as we wish, with the '' select shift '' feature being the manual mode where you can start and stay in 2nd gear, for instance.
edit : I realized the above didn't really answer your question...... I don't believe that you can get the progressive range select feature either by just adding the + - shift arm
and activating it, but I could be wrong.
Maybe one one of the guys more familiar with tuning will weigh in.

The actual manual mode select shift is specific to the 10-speed AFAIK. Did any 2015's have the lock-out feature? If they didn't, you are probably hopeless. If they did and you had access to some specialized programming tools and had it wired correctly, there is a chance you could get it to work, but as others said it would be rather involved and still may never work.
The 15+ six speed trucks with select shift have the manual mode also,
and I believe that the 6 speeds offer the driver a greater degree of manual control than the 10 speeds.
what I mean by that is : the 6 speed select shift trucks that I have owned allow the driver to start in 2nd or 3rd gear from a dead stop( why you would want to start in 3rd is beyond me )
while the 10 speed trucks will downshift back to 1st once the vehicle speeds drops to about 5 mph regardless of the gear selected.
