I will be sure to.

Truck is awesome, other than that small issue.

Took it to the mountains right after I got it, and it practically drove itself!

Just wanted to make sure I let you all know that if you're experiencing this on your 2015, the best next step would be to let me know; I can get a case started to help get this resolved.

I'm glad to hear that your dealer took care of this, wakerider017. Please know that I'm here to document any feedback or answer any questions you may have.

I'm here to help, srg963! I'll get a case started and into the hands of your regional customer service manager; they'll work with the dealer to reach a resolution. Please send a private message my way with your full name, VIN, current mileage, servicing dealer, and best daytime contact number.

I have been keeping a list of the things that are posted here to check for on my truck when it arrives.
Looks like Brittany with FordService has you on the right track. Please let us know how things work out for you.

Brittany,

Thank you for taking the time to step up and help people who need it and offering the guidance and assistance that you have given.

It may not make it very far up the grapevine, but please pass on to your superiors that, in me, Ford has built respect and appreciation. For all of the ways that it feels like one may be jaded in this fast paced world, it is nice to know that Ford is proactively taking steps to help owners and gather input for future products and services. We are Ford's market (at least a portion), and there is valuable insight to be gained.

With that said, thank you very much.

To be fair, it seems like dealership service is failing hard if you're having to short-circuit the chain to get anything done. It's all well and good that people on this forum are getting help, but what about the people that aren't? Your dealer should arguably be your only point of contact on anything having to do with any vehicle. If you're not getting satisfaction from them that is the largest problem.

I definitely appreciate the kind words, cwrose; I'm happy to be here to help! I'll pass this on to my supervisors and get it documented; I'm sure they'll love the feedback.

Please let me know if you have any questions moving forward. Have a great day!

Just picked up my 2015 lariat sport no rust issue, not any of the fore mentioned issues yet only had it for 18 hours. I too made a list to go through before I signed the papers, this way I wouldn't forget to look at something. Build date was early March, built at Dearborn

Use Eastwood Rust Encapsulator. It will never rust again! Been using this stuff for years.
