Not sure if I'm going to call her Ruby or not. Seems to suit the truck. Although I'm also liking "Starship Lariat". Anyway, I got her all shined up, and took advantage of the sunshine to take some photos overlooking the Straight of Georgia.
The truck really came alive with some TLC. I washed it, then used a fine clay bar over the entire truck. Next, two coats of Chemical Guys Jet Seal. That was Wednesday. Today I washed it again, and then applied a coat of 1Z Einszett Glanz Wax Hart. The wax is easy to apply, and buffs off easily too. It gives a nice shine and lasts quite a while. I've been using it for several years now. In between waxings I wash with Meguir's Ultimate Wash & Wax. It does a great job of preserving the shine.
Wonder why they changed the Sirius antenna design on the roof?
I wonder if the shark fin style works better than the old style antenna?
I live in a mountainous region and whenever driving by ledges or tall buildings Sirius cuts out for a few seconds. It was so annoying that I didn't renew my subscription. However, it worked pretty good when I would travel out of the area, which isn't often.

Saweeeeet !
Thanks for posting your application instructions
This will be even more necessary for us here in northern Alberta, with our excessive need for winter road salt and various other chemicals

We have hills and mountains here, too. From what I can tell, Sirius reception is better in the new truck compared to my 08 Ranger and my wife's 2016 Tucson. The new truck keeps getting it's signal in areas around here where before it cut out in both my wife's 2016 Tucson and my 08 Ranger.

I feel your pain. I grew up in Southern Ontario, and have seen the road salt dissolve many a car! I'm glad this is going to be a Vancouver Island truck. No salt here. But I do have to clean off growths of moss in the winter!
