Ripped Skid Plate / Splash Guard / Fibersorb - 2019 Ecoboost
Not sure what's causing this fibersorb felt to rip on my 2019 Ecoboost.
Part Number: JL34-7A035-BC (most recent dealer installed), JL34-7A035-BA (original factory installed)
When searching online: JL3Z-7222-C seems to be the correct part number.
Dealer says if I remove the plate completely, it will be fine.
Has anyone else removed this part because you had this same issue or got sick of taking it off for every oil change?
I've since removed it.

My dealer replaced it the first time under warranty no problem. I would just like to know the cause since my warranty is up soon.

has left the building
Common cause I've read is from when it hangs down while being removed. Lots of recommendations to leave in one bolt and swivel it aside.
Seems that a medium percentage of folks with a damaged one just leave it off. Or replace it with something metal.

I'll probably just leave it off.
