as they are not technicians and do not have access to your truck, I would say that yes, that's about as much as you can realistically ask them to do.

My cross traffic alert works great but if a person is walking behind the vehicle whether in park or reverse there is no alert. My 2004 activates when the transmission is in either gear.

Would this be something the dealer can turn up and set the radio to mute when I back up?

Any ideas please let me know.

Thanks
I have noticed it is not very loud either and I have same issue as you with hearing impairment in right ear and cannot hear it very well. My 2010 Platinum was very loud.

On my 2011, the noisemaker is under the dash above the drivers side footwell. MAybe you could move it from under the rear seat to under the dash. That should make it sound louder.

I hate to ask this on this old thread, and if needed I will start a new one (if needed), has there been any update on this subject? My reverse sensor volume is too low just like the OP, the Blind Spot sensor is very loud. Thanks for any feedback

For both the OP and kondo you should be able to find the transducer (noise maker) and move it to under the dash. That's where mine on my 2011 is. It will be closer and so you should be able to hear it better. In addition, you should be able to use the signal to trigger a louder beeper if needed.

Does anyone know where this transducer is? Just picked up my truck and Sensor noise is super low. Almost backed into another car as I am so use to a loud sensor. Would love to move it.
