Default Reverse lights not working

So I just installed some OEM raptor LED tail lights. Hooked everything up to make sure it would all work. Then unplugged and spliced the harness together. Now I can't get my reverse lights to work. Is there a fuse that is blown?

You tested the reverse lights prior to install? I would check all the wiring and connections.

No fuses, lights controlled by the BCM, if it senses a short it will shut off the power to keep from damaging it. So either you have an open, or you have a short.

Guess my question would be, were they working before you made the changes?
I'll have to bring my wiring manual in, luckily its for a 2015. But I know the lamps are controlled directly off the BCM, they are both tied together, so both could be out due to one cause.

Kind of off topic, but finding out from this thread that the reverse lights are BCM controlled explains how the lights, back up camera, and parking sensors all turn on simultaneously.

scan the bam for codes then clear the codes. I worked on an Explorer that I replaced the bulb in, the new bulb wouldn't work until I scanned and cleared the BCM for codes.

Well pretty much everything on these trucks are controlled by the BCM. Say you turn the switch to turn the headlights on, all that does is tell the BCM there is a request to turn the headlights on, so then the BCM turns the outputs for the headlights, parking lights and tail lights on along with the dash lights and anything else that is needed. Gone are the days of the switch actually controlling the actual circuit.

I normally don't have a problems with computer control of systems and it usually makes things better. For instance sine the modules communicate over the network they can work together. When the steering column module turns on the wipers it communicates this over the network. The lighting control module receives this information and turns on the exterior lights. The bad side of this is that when one thing goes wrong it can effect multiple symptoms. Like a faulty gear selector switch making all the modules on the network stay on or randomly wake up causing battery drain.

Please tell me that you got this figured out. I am in the exact same situation and I can’t find any info on it at all.
