As far as I know they are the same just shorter. Did the swap on my 2013 they are the same thickness should be the same strength. Still waiting for my 2018 to be built will probably remove the blocks on it too when I get it, but it's going to be an HDPP, they are different will have to look at it when I get it. By the way I drove my 2013 around for almost a year with the old u bolts with no issues just didn't like the bolts sticking down so far.

Yes, nothing special, just shorter. It's good practice to replace than reuse. Through torquing down, threads are stretched. Many, if not most, just reuse, but for the cost, safety first.

Anyone got a good write up on how to do this? its seems easy enough and ive seen a couple vids of them doing so on different trucks but i seen a 2015-2016 f150 vid where it looked like the guy left the truck on the ground, unbolted the bolts and just jacked up the actual leaf spring to get enough room to remove the block. Can i do it like this? anyone know the torque specs on the bolts? Thanks and sorry for jacking this thread

I did what he did. Easy peasy. Just make sure when you lower the leaf spring that the round tabs on the leaf spring fit in the holes of the plate the leaf spring rests on.

I put about 50 miles on the truck and it still measures 38.5" It was definitely at 40.25". I can not explain how removing a 1.25" block lowed it 1.75" but that is what happened. That's my story and I'm sticking with it. BTW, love the way it looks. So much better then that *** end sticking up. And I know it is not much but it is easier to load things in the back.....noticeably.

If these blocks will fit on an 11th gen, are you interested in selling them?
