Just to be clear because i'm kind of a dummy, I have an XLT with factory remote start that shows me an option for "Auto" in the remote start system on the cluster display settings, does this mean when I autostart in the winter it will turn the seat heaters on and the heat on, or do I have to have the "auto" climate control to do that?

Yes, the heat and the seat heaters will come on in the winter during remote start on your truck with it set to auto. The lights on the heated seats switches won't light up during remote start, but they are working. Once you turn the key on, you will have to manually turn the seat heaters on if you want them.

Let me add an additional question/comment.....

When I get in my truck after remote starting it (auto or last setting), insert the key, and turn to ON sometimes the blower turns completely off for 5-10 seconds then goes back to its previous speed. Sometimes it just keeps blowing at the previous setting without any interruption. Anyone see this?

FYI - I leave mine to last setting since auto doesn't seem to blow cold enough for Florida!

I notice this, someone recommended making sure you turn the key really quickly all the way and that seems to work 90% of the time. I actually had it do it at the dealer and they said its normal.

Mine has always paused since I bought it - haven't experienced it continue without interruption yet.
