Ford has remote start + shock sensor alarm, however if you don't already have sync connect and you want to remote start/lock/unlock with your phone you will have to choose one of the other options

I bought the 12vsolutions no honk unit and I'm very happy with it. Took longer to figure out where I wanted to mount it than it did to program it.

You can get the OEM security/remote start from Fairway Ford on eBay. It uses lock/unlock/lock sequence with original fob so it does not honk. Just need to activate it via forscan or IDS. I just added it a couple weeks ago. Very happy with it and the install, besides activation, was plug and play.

I went with a Compustar remote start. The model I have has a 2 mile starting range.

I looked at the 12vsoultion model but they use the stock remote so only start when you're close to the vehicle.

I have had the 12 volt solutions installed for over a year and it works flawlessly. Added the smart phone control so can start from anywhere with the app. I have also installed a second setup on my edge.
