Default Remote start?

Anyone have the dronemobile system in their truck? My pro installer says it's the best thing since sliced bread. I like that it uses my iPhone and I don't need another controller hanging on my keychain.

What do you guys think?

How expensive are these, is there some type of subscription required?

Just put one in last week.

I had Viper Smart Start on my other truck, it like their app better, the drone one is kinda dull.

But it will start, stop, lock/unlock your truck. Remember this works on 3G, so it's not quick to lock and unlock. That's were the fob is nice and quick to unlock

It requires a yearly subscription. Two tiered price based on what you want alerts and GPS location.

It has a countdown so you know how long it's been running (Max 35 mins) but you have to pay extra for it to alert you when it turns off

The installers also were able to use my keyless OEM fob to start the truck. Three lock pushes will start/stop it. The OEM remote start still works as well along with lock and unlock

Like mine ! I use it all the time , I keep track of where my truck is at when the kids use it , know if they are locking it up when they turn it off , wish I could tell how fast they are driving but I think if I was really worried that there is a way to set speed and radio volume in the trucks computer . I have started it from miles away , locked it when the kids forget and killed the engine just cause I can ( let's them know I'm keeping an eye on em... Lol and no I don't kill the engine if there is even a chance they are moving ...I put a 10 on the rate scale .... Buy and enjoy and I'm remembering a couple packages regular and premium that you pay , don't remember the cost but think basic was $50 but I bought a premium package with a two or 3 year plan . About $750 too install by dealership

I had the Drone mobile on my last car, hated the app. Very inconsistent, was always timing out. I found out the web version work like a charm. Maybe the Android version wasn't as polished as the iOS version.
Ford has their own that is plug and play.

I went with the ford remote access unit setup. Needs perimeter alarm ($150) and RMU unit ($200) and annual subscription is $50. Install was easy, took about 25 min DIY. All controlled by ford app which is so far so good. Response averages a few seconds for each function, lock/unlock, start, find vehicle.

I had Ford one already on when I bought it, we just needed a longer run time than 15 mins that you get with the Ford system. Nothing wrong with the OEM system
