Say what you want about the Blackwood but it was before its time. People now want luxury trucks and they sell, usually without the incentives and discounts like the lower trims. They make money for Ford. I still can't believe the Limited trim now eclipses $80k...

Doug is one of the more tolerable youtube personalities out there reviewing vehicles. No, he doesn't know everything about every vehicle. I do like hearing some of the "quirks and features" he covers.

If you want cringe worthy youtube, check out WhistlinDiesel....

and if that isn't an indicator of the times .. the majority of 2021's i see on the road are Limited and Platinum's

everyone has their personal feelings i guess... one person who annoys me and everyone loves is Shmee ... it's his face that annoys me.. and his impressions .. great guy though.. i could probably listen to him over headphones .. Emelia annoys my OCD because her video cuts are not seamless .. its like she chopped it together piece by piece .. nothing flud about it.. Cody (WhislinDiesel) is a pretty humble good kid.. just a little socially awkward if you can pick up on that

He had a really good point that I never thought of. The purpose of this vehicle was completely missed. This was not supposed to be a truck. It was supposed to be a car. As he said, you were supposed to have this and an F-150 in your garage. Not this and a Towncar. But, I don't remember any of the marketing for this thing even attempting to convey that message. And how would you convey the message that "this truck isn't supposed to be a truck"?? I think a vehicle like would actually do better these days.

That wasn't the message i got from him at the beginning, it was, they wanted you to just have this in the garage, not the f150 and the towncar.
