Default Redo button...

Hey guys,

I might have the opportunity to have my truck swapped out by Ford. I was wondering, if you had the possibility of re-doing your initial F150 purchase, what would you re-do? Options you might want now, or options you would have skipped, etc?

From the 502 with about every option... I would have got a 2wd platinum without the panoramic roof. Don’t use 4wd or the roof much.

That's awesome to hear, I was just looking to get one with the roof. Guess I'll scratch that off.

I got what I wanted the second time around... loaded out 502A. I wanted the Special Edition. Unless you just absolutely *love* the rattle-roof, I'd stay away from that. Seems to be a never-ending source of problems.

Heck if you want it get it! It’s cool, you’ll hardly use it though.

Mine doesn’t rattle... FYI

I'm in the same boat as you, I have an '18 silver lariat 502 chrome appearance package, tow package, 36 tank, tailgate step with pano. I ordered a '19 white 502 added the sport appearance, power deployable running boards, adaptive cruise and removed the pano roof. No fx4 on either truck but have the switch and will activate hill decent on the new one once it comes in. The '18 is a beautiful truck, but after all the headaches with it I had to go with a different color.

Have had both the 3.5 and the 5.0. Both are great. I do not like the 3.31 axle, would rather have 3.55 or 3.73. Would have liked to get the 302a but just couldn’t afford it. I love the console shifter and driving the truck in M.

I miss the power running boards and Tech Package that my old one had. Love the 5.0 / 3.73 combo over my original 5.0 / 3.55 .

Definitely 36 gal. tank... that's a game-changer for me. Other than that, I would stick with everything the exact same as I have now... 3.5L eco, camel interior which I love, pano roof (even though I don't use it that often it is nice to open the shade and let some sun in or just tilt it a little bit in the fall or winter; and mine doesn't leak or rattle at all), tailgate step is very nice
