Can you explain how an MSRP to MSRP swap works on a Buy Back then.

The way I understand it, If your truck (XLT)had an MSRP of $49000 and the New truck you want (Larait) has a $56000 msrp - you pay the difference ($7000). Plus a mileage charge. This way you can roll any rebates (XLT rebates for example)or other one time discounts into your new higher trim truck.

Yes that is how a MSRP to MSRP works. You should only be charged mileage for mileage incurred before the first reporting of the issue that put you into a buy back situation. Atleast that is how it is in Illinois, your state may be different.

Are the Panos really that bad even in the 2018s? Im in the same boat. Ford just cut the refund check for me. The only trucks around here all have the pano with the other options i want.

I was seriously considering a new Lariat but the price does seem excessive compared to the XLT. After reading that several of you would choose the Lariat if you had to do it over again tends to convince me that I might regret not getting the Lariat. I looked into loading the XLT with everything possible and it just doesn't get me to where I want to be. I do wonder about the 20 inch wheels though, do they really ride worse than the 18s.
Thanks in advance, great thread!

100% keep = 36 gallon tank, 157" wheelbase, 3.6EB, Max Tow, power running boards
Eliminate = FX4 option, box side steps, chrome package
Add = 360 camera system, sport package
Avoid = pano roof

Would look seriously at the 3.73 if I were to re-order the truck again. Have the 3.55.

I had 18 inch on my 2013 Lariat and I have 20 inch on my 2018 Lariat. I can't tell the difference in ride quality. I went with the 20 inch this time because I didn't like the 18's that came with the chrome package. I thought they looked cheap.
