Default Recomendations for side steps

Looking to purchase a set of side steps similar to the ones pictured, and I live in Minnesota. Suggestions on what brand holds up best to corrosion? Or has anyone coated theirs to fight off rust? Thanks!

I just installed some go rhino's on my 19. I picked them up on a steel for 180 still in box. I did however have to cut a section to fit. But hey that's what makes them unique

They aren't similar to the ones pictured, but I got a set of aluminum Raptor take-offs for mine. I don't want to worry about corrosion as well.

The oem steps on my 19 are made of some kind of non-metallic metal. Maybe aluminun. They look nice but I would prefer no steps because I am taller and normally bypass the step and just put my foot on the ground. When doing so, the step sometimes rubs my leg. Not a big deal in jeans but when I have nice pants they are more likely to get dirty.

The automatically retracting steps are cool but pricey. Nit sure what the maintenance is like on those and how reliable they are over time.

Are these polished stainless or chrome?

they are polished stainless. After the cut I just used clear nail polish to "cap" any potential rust

If your looking for loop steps without a rail Carr makes several versions. I installed Super Hoops on mine, wife and I rather short legged!

Was muddy on the trails! KM
