I have an 2015 Lariat screw and have the sensors on the outside door handles. I noticed the other day when it was raining that if I'm close enough to my truck with the key fob when it is raining the rain hitting the outside door handles will lock and unlock the doors on my truck. I was washing my truck over the weekend and noticed it doing the same thing when water would hit the handles. It has been chilly outside when I have noticed it doing this. Anyone else noticed this? My wife's car has sensors on the handle but does not do this. Any ideas?

Tell me about it. I guess I need to check the distance of how far away the remote needs to be from the truck so this doesn't happen.

While washing my truck I've heard the locks locking/unlocking (with associated lights flashing) several times.

I just leave the fob on the front seat while washing the truck.

It's not unique to Ford. My Ram does the same thing.

Ah technology.... Foolproof. Between this and the heated/cooled seats problems, I'm glad I got what I got. Sometimes I miss the old days where the most hightech part of the vehicle was the radio...

I dislike the soft touch lock/unlock on my Lariat. I dont like one side being Lock and the other unlock. I would rather push one for lock, push again for unlock. I would also prefer an actual button. I cant tell you how many time I lock when i want to unlock the truck...
