Rain guards
What are the best in channel to go with. Don’t want to deal with the headache of them having problems rolling up or clicking noises.
And what about the stick on. I don’t want them to look cheap or stick to the actual paint, but the window frame... if that what it called.
I know i seen a few post when i searched but they were brand specific and only talked about problems. That will be going on a 2019 super crew

They were installed by me, per the directions both on paper, and on YouTube. I've retrained the windows, and feel the tape holding the visors to the molding isn't of sufficient strength. I will be changing the tape out when I have time. Same thing happened on my 2012, I ended up going with tape ons on that truck. This issue is quite common with all in channel designs, as I've found during g my research.

I have a 2018. The rear portion of the front guards, and both sides of the rear guards, have tape. I can't remember what my 2012 had on the in channel ones. Been too long. On mine, the rear guards pull away from the weather stripping if I leave the windows down, which allows the windows to catch on the edge of the guard. Esp a PITA when it's the passenger side rear door...
I have installed in-channel guards on all of my trucks. I don't remember the brand I installed on my Lariat, but they didn't stay in place very well, occasionally kicked back to full open, and the machined edge ended up cracking. They lasted about 2 months before I pulled them off. If I reinstall something again it will be the low profile tape-on style.
