Agree.................... have them on my 17 and they've worked perfect. ZERO problems with kickbacks or jams..... I do not like the taped on ones but to each their own.

Weather Tech in channel. I have them on my 2018 and they're working great. Makes sure you follow the directions and leave the glass up long enough for them to seat properly.

Life is hard. It is harder if you are stupid.

I do not roll windows down unless I am at a drive thru and do not let passengers roll the rears down. No need to roll the windows down. I have AC and heat.

I have weather tech in-channels on my truck. Installed about 2-3 maybe 4 months ago. They work just fine. The instructions SUCK though. Also almost every video installs them wrong on youtube. I have no tape on mine as well. The only complaint I have with in channels is the dust and dirt the collect. It a horrible sound when you roll your window up and down and you hear the grinding lol.

Tried the AVS in channel ones. I took those things out and threw them away....

Has anyone seen the the weather tech style ones but completely flat black??? I saw a guy at a rest stop who had them and he had no clue where he got them. His wife bought them for him. The rain guards also had no bran markings on them.

I have the AVS, they are the tape on and mount to the trim around the window, not on the paint and have had zero issues with them. I have had them on previous trucks as well and as long as you clean where they mount real well with alcohol and use the adhesion promoter I have never had a set come loose.

It's strange how some WT's work perfect and others not so much. This is the 3rd truck I've had them on and zero issues with kick back or jamming. My first truck I had them on was an 06 and they didn't work for crap! Tried everything but never got them perfect. My 2012 and 2017 they've been excellent with zero issues..........
