Default Quick ? - steering wheel material

I have an XLT with the cloth seats...

What is the steering wheel made of? Is it vinyl or leather?

Know this dumb and I should be able to tell, but it's either a hard leather, or softer vinyl.

I ask so I know which products to use on it for cleaning and care.

Thanks!

I use Lexol leather conditioner on my 2011 XLT's "leather wrapped" steering wheel. With 73K miles there is zero visible wear to the wheel, still looks brand new.

It is leather, maybe not the top quality, but it definitely is leather, most vinyls are not suitable for steering wheels.

This is the reason why we only use top quality leather.

I'm so glad I found you guys. Do you do core swaps? I really cant be without the truck while you rewrap it in leather.

Thanks

Actually we do not, with over 1800 products available we would have to have a warehouse as big as a stadium to store all the cores...

But I think with more popular steering wheels we can think about it :-) What exactly do you drive? I'll see if we even have the core for you

Take care

Good to know... yea I have some Lexol stuff already, really good stuff. One of the best leather cleaners/conditioner's in my opinion.

Jack,

sent you a PM. Also, do you have actual pictures of the wheel after your wrap?

Just replied

As for photos - we do have hnbdreds of photos of steeriring wheels rewrapped in our leathers but only a few of F150 wheels
That is why we are now ofering 50% REFUND upon photos of our covers on F150 steering wheels

Let me show you but a small sampler of what we can do so that not to photobomb ThunderStruck007's thread too much:

Any other questions? Do not hesitate to ask, I'm here to help :-)

Take care

I don't think it's real leather. Ford has been calling their steering wheels leather for a long time, but are really just fake.

Well the pictures look better than the stock cover. I dont mind it if its better than the factory "leather". Damn thing feels like cheap vinyl.

And the price aint bad. I sent a couple of PMs but they havent replied yet.

Might give them a call instead.
