Quick ? - steering wheel material
Aniline Immersion Dyed, Aniline Micro Pigmented, (Urethane) Finished? Full-grain, top-grain and split –grain?
I kind of agree...
The feel is awful, but by no way does it feel like "real" leather...
As someone said above, it may be 'cheap' leather, but still, it seems more like a vinyl...
I have a BMW with a leather steering wheel, completely different vehicles, but the steering wheels feel NOTHING alike in texture, feel, softness, and as ridiculous as this is to say - in smell.
Either way, I still want to take care of my truck steering wheel. The drivers seat and the steering wheel are arguably the 2 most important parts on the interior.. they are literally the only thing you are 'touching' the entire time on your truck/car.
When I first bought my truck (Lariat) I was fairly disappointed with the "leather" steering wheel, It feels and looks like plastic. GM and Dodge use a nice soft leather, but with that being said I do now realize why Ford used this plasticized leather.
Its way more durably, me and my brother both had 2014 sierras and the soft leather got hard and shiny after a little bit of use. Not only that if I ate anything while driving my GM I couldn't stand touching the wheel after. It would always feel sticky, even sometimes if I washed my hands and the wheel with leather cleaner it still had a sticky feel.

Thnx!
