Putco LED error message

I give up. The instructions in the link above still call for connecting a bridge under the dash.

You DO have to wire the brake lights/turn signals to the truck in the fenders.

You DO have to wire the tail lights (marker lights) to the truck in the fender.

Unless you have LED tail lights, the only things you can wire to the trailer hitch wiring are the reverse light and ground wire. The ONLY things.

If you don't have LED tail lights, that is all you need to do, you are finished.

If you DO have LED tail lights, you have to cut the red wire on the Putco light and wire it into the 12v+ wire of the trailer hitch wiring. If you do that, and ONLY if you do that, you have to bridge the wires under the dash.
