Default Pros and Cons on leveling kits

Hi guys, I’ve tried to read through the leveling kit thread as much as possible. It was started so long ago, there’s a ton of information that covers a vast number of topics.

I am specifically looking for feedback on the Pros and Cons of the various leveling kits based on your experience. I have a 17 SCREW 4x4 and am looking to level it and put some 275/60/20 All Terrains on it.

1. What kit did you use?
2. What was the cost?
3. Did the ride change from stock? How?
4 What size tires did you run?

Photos would be awesome!

The only con would be on a 3" imo and that is too much for your CV angles- keep it 2.5" under and you'll be fine. Ride quality for me didn't really change, and never had an issue on the past trucks I've owned.

No cons that I can think of. I have a 15 with a 2.5". I think for the kit and the shop to put it on was like $500 (Can't remember because I had them put some other things on and it's been a few years). Ride quality changed a little but not bad. The ride quality change is mostly from the tires. I was able to fit 35x12.5r20 Toyo MTs with very little rubbing. Rubbing was when wheels were turned full turn only when backing up but went away after they wore down a little. I just put a set of 35x11.5r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on and they don't rub at all. Like stated above, don't go over a 2.5".

The 275/60R20 fits without a lift. That’s the size i have.
I only did a 1” front level and am very happy with it. Frankly, 1” is such a small lift that it didn’t effect the ride at all. To me, the small lift I had put on makes look how I think it should come from the factory.

Parking garage height is a negative as is the dumb Cali lean when you hook a trailer to them.

You don't need a level for that size tire anyway...unless you just like the look?

That is too, unless you do blocks in the rear like I did you will have a saggy rear when towing. I added 3" blocks in rear with my 2.5 front
