ive only tried my pro backup a couple times.
ford shows it real nice with a boat trailer where everything is quite visible, the trailer frame wheels and ground. anything other than that, a boat trailer, its a expensive pos.
I have a medium size tent trailer and the system is worthless. any type of box or enclosed trailer completely kills the "pro take your money backup assist camera". cant see a damn thing.
if you have any kind of sizeable trailer don't bother, its false. think about it.
I couldn't imagine trying to back a 30' rv. not even a 10' box.
maybe another lense in the 3rd brake lite.?
comments?
Personally I find it funny they even came out with it. Automakers keep coming out with all these things to actually make people worse at driving by saying they make things easier or safer.
Better bet would be a camera on the back of the trailer. Waterproofing it would be the most difficult part.
i have used mine with a 18 foot aluminum trailer hauling a polaris ranger with tracks and plow on it, its works for me as advertised, but most of the time i dont even use it, know how to back up a trailer myself since i was able to drive

looks like your trailer is pretty open to me?
easy to see around and thru.
try a box thats 8' wide and 4' tall.
my mistake, I should have looked at ford better.
and your such the man being able to back a trailer from day 1, kudos to you

I have the backup control but would never use it... Honestly, the cameras that I paid $$$ for 360 view are so bad I can barely make out what the heck I am looking at. I wish I would have seen more feedback on camera quality before I ordered my truck... I gave up the 2.7 for the 360 cameras... bad decision.
