Default Power Outlets

Does anyone know if there's an option to keep power on the 12V power outlets or not. On my 2010 I could charge something without the truck running or key turned on. Seems as though that's not an option on the 2015.

I'm looking for an Always Hot plug too.

My cigarette plug remains live in my 2015 when the engine is off. I believe the USB might not though

Which outlet stays on? The one in the console doesn't on mine.

I believe the 12v in the media center (with the SD card/USB/Aux in) does. I haven't checked to see if the one in the center console does yet.

I asked this same question a while back. Sometimes the dash 12v stays on with my cell phone charger, but it won't power my Dometic fridge unless the ignition is on. I'll be running an other line into the cab for the fridge.

I'll try the media one. I also know the one on the back on the console doesn't stay on either. I have kids and their DVD player won't work until I start the ignition.

If I plug in my cell phone charger into the console outlet while the truck is charging. It appears to stay charging for at least 1/2 hour or more, I honestly don't know what the max time is. However if plug it in with out the vehicle running it will not charge.

If only people didn't need to be protected/coddled, we might have control of our power outlets.

The Battery saver system shuts most of the aux power off after 30 minutes. I don't know of a way to override it. My 05 Freestyle did the same thing, so does the Platinum.
