BIG BLUE & GOLDIE - I came into the cab area on the passenger side. You can usually find a rubber indent and may have to penetrate a new hole. I was fortunate to follow another cable into the cab side.. All is sealed and weathertight.

I needed to to get to the back seat area on my SuperCab so I followed the tray inside the bottom of the door frame under a cover.

My large 4AWG single cable is completely hid by the panels and covers and comes out of the floor underneath the rear seat area where it terminates in a BLUE SEA 12VDC 8-position fused SUB PANEL. I wired in a 4AWG GROUND CABLE directly to a close by frame ground point for the negative side of the 12VDC SUB PANEL. The sub panel uses #10 screw lug connections to go to my various Amateur Radio power cords. The 4AWG RED PRIMARY cable is terminated to a BLUE SEA FUSE BLOCK inside the motor area before going to a direct battery connections. I think my fuse is rated at 100AMPS.

I cut my own 4AWG cables from ANCORE MARINE QUALITY CABLE stock from EBAY STORES. I use ANCOR brand ring terminals on each end of the made up cables using a 8-ton hand crimper ($60 from AMAZON)

I use the BLUE SEA MARINE 12VDC PRODUCTS in all of my 12VDC projects including fuse boards, terminal lugs, etc. Everything requires the cables to use crimp-on ring terminals with heat shrink adhesive sleeves...

Ford does this to "protect" us and keep from draining the battery down. If one drained their battery they would post " POS 2015 left me stranded" which wouldn't be cool.

For those of us that like to control our own lives it would be ice to have an override option. But alas we cannot be trusted so that option is not available.......

People can never be trusted to know what they really need/want.

Big wigs know better. Then again when was the last time we voted someone into a state or federal position that wasn't a rich man or woman. I guess people think rich people know what they need. Our choices get fewer and smaller.

Sorry for OT rant.

Back to our regulated 12v plugs...
