Default Power fold mirrors

Trying to determine if I can replace the manual folding tow mirrors on my 2020 f150 XLT with power folding models. Can’t get truck in garage without getting out and folding them in. Has anyone upgraded to power mirrors?

There are multiple threads on here how to do it, I followed the directions. Lots of parts, about 8 hours of work. Definitely worth it though...

It's a little easier if you have blind spot monitoring. But yeah there is a super thread here about it with all the info you will ever need.

I'd love to do this too, but I thought you couldn't do it if you had BLIS?

I have BLIS with puddle lights and the other forward-facing blinker/spotlights. Can you still do it for that combination?

I've been researching this also. From what I've read I believe you'd only need the correct mirrors and driver side switch panel but I have no personal experience. There is a lot of information on this here you should be able to find through search option

How do you get out of the truck if it won't fit in the garage without the mirrors folded?

This is the thread I'm following, downloaded the pdf, and accumulating parts to remedy the same exact problem on a 2017XLT Screw @Red2020

Just remember 18+ year models have temperature sensor in passenger side mirror. Not sure but I'd guess the passenger side wiring harness will need to be for same years

Only after certain build dates. My 2018 XLT has the temp sensor up front, near the radiator. Not sure what date the change was made, though.

Also may have to change driver and passenger door harnesses and modules, depending on what options you start out with, and have to add. For me, I have plain jane XLT truck, adding power folding tow mirrors I needed new harnesses and door modules.

In a lot of garages, the width of the door opening is much smaller than the actual dimensions of the garage itself. You have to fold them to get through the door, but once inside you've got more room to play with.
