Does anyone know if the power running boards / steps on the 2015 F150 that would come on a Lariat Lux with the Sport Package would have chrome on them or would the be black? If they have the chrome piece on them how easy is it to remove?

If i'm getting an FX4/sport with no chrome then i certainly don't want any on the running boards.

those are not the power deploy boards...those are the standard fixed ones.

 

Here is a pic of Lariat with sport package and what looks like power running boards (correct me if I'm wrong) and does look like has a metal/chrome edge.

 

yeah i saw that and was hoping that was just the pre-production one. it would seen odd on a package that you pay extra for to REMOVE all of the chrome that they would put a running board with a chrome edge. I know you can get the AMP boards all black and was hoping that is what they would use on the sport package.

 

^ I do agree with you especially if you go with sport package not chrome. Maybe the final production version will be different.

 

Just put some black vinyl wrap over it or get it sprayed in some bedliner spray for an ultra durable finish. Don't panic guys...
