Sure, if you can find all the components. There are key sensors in the doors and console, then modules elsewhere in the body, and then the programming that is needed to marry the modules to the PCM and BCM. If someone can add Adaptive Cruise and auto park I don't see why it can't be done for PBS, though would it actually be worth the cost?

Well, that's a good question. I would have THOUGHT much of the senor arrays would be there, but not utilized. I could be wrong though. Because, TBH, I didn't really think about all the fiddly-bits I would need to add to make it work

Soooooooo... yea......... maybe not then.

There was a time when each model, XL, XLT, Lariat etc. had it's own wiring harness, specifically for the options ordered, but with CANBUS systems, they are able to use fewer harnesses for all models, so there is a chance that your truck has all the wiring already, but not the modules.

My last 2013 Flex didn't come with a tow package, so I added the hitch, and got the trailer lighting package, but found out the harness was already there and it worked, I just needed the 7/4 pin plug.

XL and XLT may share the same dash harness but the lariat and up are different

Also when I was making changes in the bcm there is a change you can make to enable the push. (No key detected showed on ipc) But obviously there are sensors that need to be added too.

Not worth it, way too much hardware needed to make it work.

Other threads have address this. Juice is not worth the squeeze for most and I have yet to see anybody that has actually done it.

What if you keep the key and use the push button for ignition only? Turn key to on, press button to start. I believe thats how the aftermarket ones work. More-so for aesthetics, but still semi functional.
