Phone USB connection error
I get the following error with my phone (samsung Galaxy Note 4 verizon)
when connecting to the USB plug.
This USB device is not supported. Please remove.
my wife's Iphone doesn't do this (6s).
is there a fix for this or a reason it doesn't work?

I believe the Sync USB port is only programmed to use iPhone/iPod, or a mass storage device such as a USB stick, or even a phone which can act as a mass storage device to access files on it. I used to get that message sometimes when plugging in my Windows 10 phone, which is funny because it's Microsoft and Sync is also Microsoft... But since I updated to the latest firmware for the Sync, I don't get that message anymore.
Either way, even if you get that message, your phone will still charge.

BlackBoost is correct! The phone should still charge without any issues. Version 3.8 is the latest software available. I recommend visiting the dealer to have it installed. Currently, it's unavailable online.
