If I had to do it again I would just put a 3 inch resonator delete on the OEM exhaust.

Hi John, if you were looking for a conservative single-exit with a little more sound than the stock system, we would recommend our 19052 catback. It's fully stainless with a lifetime warranty and bolts right on with basic hand tools. If you'd like more info, please visit our website here:

Be sure to double-check compatibility with your truck's cab style and bed length by using our website's application lookup tool. Please don't hesitate to shoot us a PM or call at 1-800-990-0905 if you have any questions!

why doesn't magnaflow make a option 3 inch resonator delete with the 19052 system, when I order mine I thought it came three inch cat back, but it was resonator back. I had to custom my pipe cut and weld the mid pipe to 3 inch.

The majority of our catback/axleback systems are designed for a moderate, comfortable sound on daily driven vehicles. We offer one kit for the F150 that deletes the factory resonator, which is the 19054 system with dual before-tire exits.

Anyone remember the old Busch cars that ran V6's and non had that good V8 sound and literally millions of dollars was spent on performance over sound.
Teeny weeny engines are not going to make a massive throaty sound. 2.7L =164.764CI
Adding turbos to the exhaust does no help for the exhaust sound.
The last 6 cylinder exhaust that sounded good was the old split exhaust manifold inline straight 6 running dual glass packs.
Put your money to other mods.
