Default Pedal Commander?

So I have 5.0 FX4 with 35's and 3.31 gearing. I don't have 2000 to pay for re gearing so I came across Pedal Commander for $300. Has anyone used this and has it worked and will this be a good alternative for now for my situation instaed of regearing?

Won't do anything for you other than increasing the throttle sensitivity. Doesn't mean faster acceleration, doesn't mean better performance with larger tires.

Spend $150 extra and get the SCT BDX with 3 5star tunes. Then you can increase overall drive ability and performance while correcting tire size.

There are only a couple fixes. A bigger motor or new gears. Start saving up.

Will that void warranty? It's a 2018 so ....I was thinking of just getting the hypertech recalibration tool to help adjust tire sze instead

Pretty sure you can calibrate the new tire size in FORscan.

you cant cheat your way around your problem. You need more power or more gear. The PC will net you nothing.

All that will do is re-calibrate your speedometer to account for tire size change. Won't do anything for performance.

Yes it is! Search this forum for the pedal commander thread from about a year ago. It is three hundred and fifty posts long. Bottom line is, every one who has one, and installed it following the directions loves it. The only people talking it down are those who have not tried it! I too was on the fence about PC, but it is the best mod I have done! Mine is 2015 3.5 eb with 3.55 gears, 34.3x11 tires and 3" level. The PC MORE than makes up for the added unsprung weight and drag!

Oh my...

PC is the exact same thing as pushing the pedal down further...

It tells the PCM the pedal is at 50% when you've actually got it at 20% (for example)

If you floor your truck and it's not enough performance, the only thing that will help, is a tune, or different gears.
period.

Your basic description of what the Pedal Commander does is correct, but you evidently have never driven a vehicle with a throttle enhancer. You cannot do the same thing by pressing the throttle down further, because you cannot do it in the same amount of time as the electronics does. The actual driving experience is night and day, as the drive by wire throttle lag appears to be eliminated.

It certainly doesn't add any power, but it greatly enhances the driving experience. I don't like a drastically increased throttle response so I have tailored the Vitesse on my Corvette so that it provides a linear response like a cable driven throttle provides.
