Airbags are great. Some go with Super Springs, some get an add a leaf.

But nothing will officially change your payload.

What he said. So when you buy your truck look at the payload sticker if payload is important...

I've got airbags on my F350, but in reality they don't increase the load capacity, they are just there to level the truck back out when it's got a load in it.

Your TIRES are what you need to look at for max load as this is something you do NOT want to overload.

You can check the ford chart too, according to it, the wife's F150 can hold 2,910 lbs.

With a F350 in our stable too we don't have capacity problems around here

Thanks for the help. I do have Duratracs but not sure how this affects payload.

Your wifes truck most definitely cant. Yellow sticker folks-

Look at it (drivers door jamb)-and there is nothing you can do to change it.

Interesting that it references the tires.. I wonder how changing tires would affect payload.
