Default Paint chips

What's the best method for repairing paint chips? I've had my 16 xlt for about a month and already have a couple nasty chips in the hood.

Yeah I have had mine for 3 weeks and found 4 chips down my driver side fairly decent sized ones as well. I have factory wheels and tires along with the running boards. Is the paint they use now days just that soft or perhaps its the prep job, I also have a nice ripple effect on the passenger side rear corner of the cab like they didn't get the surface nice and smooth before they painted. I am OCD about my paint so these flaws really stick out to me. I am going to see if the dealer will work something out with me.

+1 on the Doctor Color Chip product. As for the side chips, I realized in my first few days of ownership, that this truck tosses rocks at itself. I paid the 80 bucks at the dealer for mud/stone flaps. You'd think those would come on the truck for paint protection, but whatever. I put em on and no more self inflicted side wounds.

Try PPF before chips happen and then chips don't happen.
