Default Overall Height

Leaving for vacation next week and the place we are staying has parking in a parking garage. The height of the garage is 6'9" Looking it seems my 2019 4x4 crew is 6'5.2" so it is a little close but am wondering is that to the roof line or to the top of either antenna? Trying to decide if we should take a different vehicle

I have a 2018 SCREW, which is spec’d at 77.2”. I’m not sure if that’s to the roof or satellite antenna, but it’s definitely not to the radio antenna. My garage is 6’10” and the radio antenna catches the top door jamb on the garage, but the truck does fit without hitting the satellite antenna.

How many inches do you have from the roof or sat antenna up top, and that 6'10" garage? Approx

According to Fords website, mine is 6.43 feet tall. It makes it through the 6.8 foot parking garage at the local shopping center, but the stock antenna would catch on every one of the clearance signs. There's an easy fix for that though.

I remember the first time I went through there after I got it, I had the shade open on the sunroof and crept through nice and slow, I'm sure the people behind me were pissed.

6'9" is 81". My garage door is 80" and I had to trim my antenna to keep it from scraping. As long as you haven't installed a lift kit I think you're fine. Worst case you unscrew the antenna for a couple days.

I have a 4x4 screw on stock suspension.

Have you or could you check the clearance you have left after the antenna trim? My garage is also 81", getting truck in a few months...intend to level and do at least 33" tires...trying to figure out if I need to adjust my expectations for mods...

Park on a flat spot. Get a friend to hold a level with one end on the top of the truck or antenna and the other end off to the side. Use a tape measure to check from ground to bottom of level for your height.

Read this thread. Figuring out your roof clearance is easy.

Trust, but verify, someone once said. So, I did some measuring. For these measurements, my truck was in my garage, which is pretty flat and relatively level. To try and compensate for any out of level issues, I used a laser to scan across the high points on the truck. I measured up from the floor to the laser beam on each side of the truck and adjusted the height and angle of the laser until both sides measured the same height, while just skimming the top of the truck (I used a small plastic box sitting on the cab to better see the laser line).

Note that these measurements are ACTUAL HEIGHT, NOT CLEARANCE. See below for my truck specs. Your measurements may vary.
GPS Antenna: 6' 4" (76")
Cab top (at rear high point): 6' 4-1/2" (76-1/2")
Radio Antenna: 7' 1" (85")

I also happened to go into a parking garage this morning that has a stated 7' clearance. Indeed, my radio antenna just barely caught a couple of places while I was driving around.

For reference, my truck is a completely stock 2018 Platinum SCREW, 5.5' bed (145" WB), FX4, 7,000 lbs. GVWR, Max Trailer Tow Package, 20" Tires. It had about a half a tank of gas when these measurements were taken (36 gal. tank).
