Default Ordered today!

Order placed today for the following:

Lariat Screw 4X4 5.0L
5.5' bed
Magnetic w/ Black Interior
3.55 locker with trailer tow package
502a equipment
20" Chrome wheels

Was told I'd get a VIN in 7-10 days and was quoted 8-10 weeks to delivery.

CAN NOT WAIT.

Congrats on the order! The wait is extremely hard..but this forum seems to help out and make time go by a little easier.

Sure does make you envy seeing everyone else get to play with theirs while you sit back counting down the minutes until delivery.

Ordered mine December 23rd I believe...dealer says its going to be delivered this coming Monday!

Good luck with the wait

Thanks. I have a feeling this board will be my therapy while I count the days.

Enjoy your Monday!

Wow. That's discouraging. You would think now that Kansas City is up and running things would go quicker. Maybe you'll get some good news soon.

Do you have an order number and dealer code? My VIN was available within 24 hours of ordering?

Wow, that's really fast. I called a dealer today, they said worst case, 3 to 4 months. At least they are telling the truth.

What truck are you going to order?

I have a feeling the differences people are seeing now really comes down to demand and allocation. If there are a bunch of people ordering at your dealership and it doesn't have much allocation then you're basically going to wait.

I made the mistake of not asking about my dealer's allocation before ordering, and now my salesman is being evasive. "I have a number of other customers with the same concerns as you" somehow doesn't make me feel better.
