Been thinking about this also. Guess I'll keep the yellow one for now and see how it goes. I'm still shocked at the plastic pan. Thank you guys!

I find I need to hold the yellow plug for at least 4 or 5 min, otherwise the stream still hits the swaybar (I have the 5.0). If I planned to keep the truck long term I would get the Ronin or the soon to be released Fumoto. But I will get rid of it in 3 years max, and only change the oil twice a year.

I didn't have to remove anything to change the oil in my 2018 5.0. Would it be because of the FX4 package? Also wasn't that messy. I held the drain plug and controlled the flow for awhile and then some splashed off the cross member but not to bad.

Honestly probably the easiest oil change I've ever done. I'm even a fan of that weird drain plug

I just changed my oil yesterday for the 2nd time. I have the yellow plug. No need to lift the 'ears', just twist the plug. Pull the plug out until oil starts to flow and hold it there until the flow starts to slow. Then remove it completely. No mess.
I found it easier to remove and reinstall the diaper by putting a little anti-seize on the screws.

The hardest part is putting the small o-ring back on the filter housing.

If you have a pair of snap ring pliers, it makes that part a LOT easier.
