Default My Key clearing??

So I purchased a '16 f150 Lariat that came with two keys. Both seem to be programed with speed restrictions and volume limitations on the radio which anooys me being I'm already half deaf. How do I go about removing this stuff? Doesn't seem other is an "Admin key". Help.

There is either another (3rd key) for your truck or one of the keys you have is a clone. The truck will not let you make all my keys. It forces you to have at least 1 admin key.

Try this: go to settings on the instrument cluster and navigate to settings. Look at my key status. It will tell you the number of my keys and admin keys.

Bad news if you don't have an admin key. You need to go to a dealer or locksmith to have the system reset. They will delete all keys and then add 2. Both keys they add must be original and not clones. If a clone is used, the process will fail and the vehicle won't start. My keys are automatically cleared as part of this procedure.

I'd go back to the seller and complain.

Is there a way to tell if my keys are OEM Ford or knock off? They sure look OEM.
