They do come in damaged from time to time. We also see quality control issues. Lately especially with the full size Transit, for some reason. The trucks are usually perfect though, tbh. If the radiator was leaking I wouldn't be concerned. Ford is only as good as its vendors allow. Just like the rest of the manufacturers

Thanks man, and thanks for taking time to reply everybody that did. I'm not a car guy so it's all a little new for me. They said they should have it done in the next day or so, I told them I'd drive down and pick it up Friday. Pretty excited. I'll post some pictures once I get her.

Dealer ordered it as stock so I can be eligible for anything better that pops up, incentive wise, between when I ordered it and when its delivered! They were worried that the truck may come in after the Memorial Day incentives and I would miss out!


They also told me that, if it comes in before those incentives, it can sit at the dealership until they become public and I will be still eligible for them.


They told me if they ordered it as a customer order, you only qualify for the incentives available on the day its ordered and the day its delivered, nothing in between or after.

I ordered my truck a year ago tomorrow. Put deposit down to hold available incentives at time of order. Truck came in middle of May. Was able to take advantage of another $1K incentive that became available week or so before truck came in. Still happy with truck and have just over 16K on it.

sounds like a great order. All the of incentive stuff is up to the dealer, I've never been it told mattered how they ordered it. My 2012 was tagged as a customer and I took whichever incentive package was better, 2017 should go in the same way this week. Incentives are good through 4th of July, depending on where your at, hopefully they bump up a bit with Memorial Day.

My truck is ordered for me as special order not dealer stock. I was told I could have the incentives at time of order or delivery, which ever was better for me. They went up 250 between order and now, I should have the truck in 14 days or less.

Any of y'all go with a 501 Lariat order, or am I crazy? Dealer and I have been back and forth all week on numbers and trade, hopefully we get it wrapped up tomorrow.

I feel like 501 meets all my needs and the only thing I want from 502 being the LED headlights. I'd step down to the XLT 302 but I use things like PF mirrors and memory seat functions quite frequently. Plus as everyone pointed out XLT gets a bit of resale ding.
