I have had my truck for about a week now and am still blown away by the speed and the ride. It's a daily driver until this spring and summer when I plan to tow a travel trailer all around. Some specs: GCWR 16,900, Tow Rating 11,600. Payload for this truck is supposed to range from 1641 to 2320. I added some weight with the moonroof, tailgate step, bedliner and the beefed up max tow bumper and stabilizer bar. Here's what I got:

Nice! Without that moonroof I ought to break 1700 lb then, which is what I expected. No-moon-roof KR FX4 with fixed running boards and normal seats I drove before ordering was 17xx lb... should've taken a photo of the sticker.
Finally placed my order today. You guys that have been waiting for months, did your order go in as retail or stock? I shopped at two high volume dealers and both said 8 weeks, give or take was what they were seeing. One of them said since they sell so many their orders get que'd towards the front. I took it with a grain of salt but I definitely won't complain if it turns out to be true.

nice! I feel you on the cash outlay, we are starting another house this spring. I am considering a loaded XLT this time around but I really want the Lariat 502 for the LED heads.. really wish those would have broken out in the 17 model as a stand alone option. I have zero use for heated rear seats with car seats back there and even with A-plan the options add up quick. I need to solidify my order and get it moving as my 12 FX4 is approaching 100K quickly.
I almost ordered that blue. Did the Ingot Silver instead. That blue does look sharp. When I ordered mine in Sept the sales guy ordered as stock because he said those have priority. But look what it did for me though. Got the front windows tinted today. I drove it for the first time in the dark today. I must honestly say I am greatly disappointed in the headlights. Just too dim and yellow. The fog lights a ridiculously pitiful as well. Glad I already have LED bulbs for them, just haven't had time to do them yet. Probably some fine tune adjusting will help too. And I don't know what I was expecting, but the mirror spotlights to me are a waste. Expected it to be much much brighter. Not trying to be a complaining bish but just kind of shocked at the poor lighting.

I ordered from a high-volume dealer as well, mostly because it's the closest to me. The sheet they gave me a week later when I asked them why I couldn't see anything in COTUS had it slotting for production 4 weeks after the day I ordered, eventually it showed up in the "wwwqa.cotusa.ford.com" site (still not visible in the regular COTUS site) with an estimated delivery date 6.5 weeks from my order date. We'll see if they hit anywhere near that!
